What Will It Cost?
In all cases, we will provide you with a cost estimate at the start so that you have an idea of what your legal fees will be.
We offer a range of payment options for our legal services depending on the nature of your matter.
We are happy to discuss options with you in our free 30 minute initial consultation, but some of our payments options include:
INITIAL 30 MINUTE INTERVIEW – FREE CONSULTATION
In order to assist you in understanding your rights and options, we offer an initial 30-minute free consultation which will enable us to get an overview of your matter and discuss how we can best assist you. We can then recommend how to proceed, what risks may exist, what will be involved, approximate time frame and the likely costs.
We offer a fixed price for matters including standard conveyancing, wills, powers of attorney, advance care directives and appointment of medical treatment decision makers. This means that you know exactly how much your fees with be, however payment is not required until the job is done.
This option enables legal costs to be paid at the conclusion of a matter but is not contingent on a successful outcome.
Personal Injury – NO WIN NO FEE
In most cases, we offer personal injury clients what is known as a ‘No Win No Fee’ arrangement. Often people who have been injured unexpectedly are unable to work and have already been burdened with trying to meet additional costs without their usual income.
Paying for a lawyer up front is not usually an option. Our conditional costs arrangement can assist in overcoming these issues. If we believe that your chances of being awarded compensation are good, we will agree to act for you on a ‘No Win No Fee’ basis. This means that you will not have to pay us any legal fees unless your case settles and you receive an award of damages or compensation (although you may still be liable to pay disbursements as they arise).
Interim billing is where we send you a bill on an interim basis during the life of the matter on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.
