Almira Lasrado

Almira Lasrado grew up in Mumbai, where she completed her schooling and tertiary education, before undertaking her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Mumbai. She is an overseas qualified lawyer from India with post admission experience in corporate, commercial, insolvency and dispute resolution matters. Her practice has included advising clients on corporate and commercial disputes, drafting transactional and commercial legal documents and representing clients in litigation before various courts and tribunals.

Driven by a desire to challenge herself in a new legal jurisdiction, Almira moved to Australia to pursue higher education. She recently completed her Master of Laws at Monash University and is now preparing for admission to legal practice in Victoria. She looks forward to continuing her legal career in Australia, expanding her knowledge across different areas of practice and developing her skills through new opportunities and experiences. Currently she is focusing on Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) claims at Footner Wren Legal. She also supports the general personal injury practice.

Outside of work, Almira enjoys keeping fit with outdoor sports and activities, as well as travelling and exploring new places. Her musical interests include playing the guitar and partaking in Latin social dancing. She loves sharing a good laugh with family and friends.

Almira is fluent in English and Hindi (fluent) and is conversant in Marathi and Konkani.
